Administration includes primarily the Chief of Police and his secretary. This division also includes: criminal investigations, support staff, and animal control.
Criminal Investigations
There are currently four Investigators assigned to suppress crime through thorough investigations, assist citizens who are victims of crime, provide crime prevention information and provide back-up manpower for Patrol when needed.
Support Staff
Support staff consists of one Criminal Investigations Division secretary and six civilian Public Service Officers.
Animal Control
There is one civilian Animal Control Officer currently assigned to enforce City ordinances governing the care and keeping of domestic animals in the City.
Public Service Operators
These are personnel that handle phone calls, walk-in customers and a variety of record keeping tasks. They are present 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and are the first to greet you, either by phone or walk-in.
